Why Project-Based Learning?
Be Proud of Your Learning Style
I’ve worked in IT for almost 20 years and I’ve learned a lot about holding people’s hands and helping them navigate their relationships with technology. I also know what it’s like to need to learn new skills and ace certification exams for advancing my career. Not all study material was created equal. I found a lot of it to be so boring that it made me feel like I was lazy, like I didn’t want to learn new things, or like I wasn’t smart at all. That’s a very embarrassing feeling and I want to protect people from that and guide them away from that as best as I can.
I always thought that if I could just get my hands dirty and do it, that it’ll be more real world, it’ll be easier for me to talk about in job interviews and at work and that it’ll just be ingrained in me in a way that some of the more straightforward courses (if anything, too straightforward) would never help me.And that’s why I design my courses the way that I do.I’m excited to help you learn in a way that feels practical and that gives you a lot of agency in crafting your own journey.
